Creme Brulee Kids Consignment Sale at Kent, Washington

Kids really act way beyond their ages these days. You know why? The kid can barely walk! I wonder what these kids are still up to and what else these tiny tots can do.I once saw my friend’s 3 year old brother open up the computer and started playing games on it. I was really amazed?

This statement made me remember an event that is due at Kent in Washington which overall talks about flashing kids’ talents. It was a fun event which was participated by over 50 mother and daughter tandem. Luckily, my daughter Alara and I grabbed the second prize for our “Heavensent” cake recipe. I’m talking about the Crme Brulee Kids Consignment Sale. Every year the organizers of this event, “Just Kids” always see to it that they offer something unique and memorable for the participants and their families to enjoy. Last year the event was entitled, “Mums and Daughters Cook-off”.

The “Heavensent” Cake is actually a chocolate cake with a custard and chocolate filling. It was wrapped in a delicious chocolate and vanilla icing. We had fun doing this cake most especially when the judges loved it. Other contestants loved the original idea also. For last year we designed our cake with our names and with Alara drawing a mom and a little girl face enclosed in a heart symbol.

My Alara is one of the contestants again and as early as now, we are researching for the great tasting creme brulee recipes we could possibly find. The Creme Brulee contest will gather all talented kids all over the State to fire up their own version of unique Creme Brulee. I get first hand taste of her crme brulee and I must admit that she is very excellent in what she can do.

It is fun to be single. Why? It’s because single people are free, they have no responsibilities and are not motivated to work hard and sweat up for labor because of a mouth to feed and a family to raise. Every Sunday the entire single ladies and gentlemen at Grand Rapids, Michigan find time to have fun and socialize, to celebrate great friends and awesome merrymaking.

As a married woman and a mother of a beautiful 7 month old princess, I used to think that being single is a much better lifestyle. What is then a much better lifestyle? Being single or being married with responsibilities? I used to stay up so late at night and be outdoors until the wee hours of the morning. I used to break on my curfews and stay with my boyfriend for a weekend getaway out of town. Being single is care-free life, I buy the things that I want and shamelessly max out on my credit card.

Although I earn a lot more compared to what I used to before, all my money goes to buying for her milk and other necessities. “The Life” came to an end when Maiah came into my life. Times became more valuable and golden as I frantically clear out and manage my daily tasks just so I could hold her more and play with her. No more long nights partying at techno-sounding bars and no more crazy AmEX sword fighting over late dinners with my girlfriends. Lingerie and Beauty Section of malls no longer excites me as I often find myself trooping to Infant toys in my sweats sans makeup.

I do enjoy married life. Nights are spent to the company of the 2 most important persons in my life. My Don and my Maiah.

Reminiscin’ the movie: Transformers

I am a huge fan of the movie Transformers. I am no huge fan of robots or transforming trucks but somehow the movie made me a fan of Sci-fi films. For those of you who haven’t watched the film it is about a young high school boy named Sam Whitwicky who inherited one Transformer car (Bumblebee) and became an accomplice to the war of the robots. The movie contained various twists and turns that featured award winning Sci-fi effects.

Nevada has their own beat and taste of action. Nevada holds a Truck Show, an event where Monster trucks are the lead actors. Truck shows such as Nevada’s made people remember the movie transformers. Truck shows are the really thing and it is where the real action is. Here, different trucks are presented. Antique Car show will also be held along side with this annual truck show. The event will be categorized according to different aspects, such as the oldest, the most fashionable and of course the fastest. Cars will be awarded accordingly. Truck enthusiast surely won’t miss this kind of event.

Going back to the Transformers movie, Sam and his girlfriend got tangled up on the war of the machines that has somehow gotten over our planet. In the movie, newcomer Megan Fox is seen as a hot and sexy chick that had guys drooling over. The movie actually garnered her several other major roles in upcoming movies as it became the stepping stone to her stardom.

Transformers aren’t just about trucks, sci-fi and robots. It is also about camaraderie and loyalty to friends. It is about giving up one’s life for a friend and for the greater good cause of everyone. The movie teaches us a lot of lessons in life, love and in faith. It also talks about how technology can actually improve and damage the world when used wrongly.
